Job summary

Grafana Labs is hiring for a Senior Engineer to work on Pyroscope, the open-source profiling database behind Grafana Cloud. This remote UK role focuses on ingestion, storage, and query components, with collaboration across Grafana squads and a strong emphasis on open-source contribution.

You will help drive profiling as a platform capability, build agent-ready APIs, and contribute to cost-efficient, scalable observability tooling while benefiting from RSUs and a 100% remote global culture.

Qualifications

• Experience with a systems language and Go in particular.
• Hands-on work with distributed cloud services.
• Ability to engage with customers and translate pain points into deliverables.
• Comfort working in a fully remote, global team in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects end-to-end on Pyroscope within Grafana Labs' stack.
• Design, build and operate core distributed DB components (ingestion, storage, query).
• Collaborate with App Observability, Alloy, Tempo, and other squads.
• Participate in on-call and contribute to open source work.
