Job summary

Adria Solutions Ltd is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to architect and build a next-generation real-time platform from the ground up. You will work with a small senior team to design scalable backend systems, cloud infrastructure and distributed architectures capable of supporting high-concurrency real-time experiences.

This is a hands-on role with influence over technical direction, infrastructure design and platform foundations, including API and tooling development as needed.

Qualifications

• Senior backend engineer with production-scale AWS experience.
• Strong Node.js and TypeScript expertise in scalable systems.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and high concurrency.
• Knowledge of IaC tools and cloud infrastructure design.
• Deep understanding of databases, caching and performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services and cloud infrastructure.
• Architect event-driven and distributed systems on AWS.
• Develop APIs, microservices and internal tooling.
• Improve reliability, observability and developer workflows.
• Conduct load testing and performance optimisation.
• Contribute to frontend applications where required
