Qualifications

• Experience building backend services in a modern cloud environment (AWS).
• Proficient in Golang and building scalable, reliable systems.
• Strong background in CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Experience designing distributed systems and architecting backend features.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build highly available and secure cloud infrastructure.
• Build CI/CD pipelines for code, config, and infrastructure.
• Mature our monitoring and alerting setup ready for launch; plan milestone deliverables.
• Build game features and tools in Golang.
• Proactively support internal backend users and triage issues.
• Proactively seek cost saving opportunities.
• Perform code reviews and maintain a high-quality codebase.
• Set team direction in areas of ownership.
• Maintain relationships with external vendors.
• Share progress updates with the studio and stakeholders.
