Nebius is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to help develop our hyperscaling cloud platform. You will mainly work with Golang, with some Java and Python, and have the opportunity to design and implement fault-tolerant services.

The role supports hybrid or remote work, with offices in multiple European cities including London. You will join a fast‑moving, innovation‑driven team building AI‑driven infrastructure for developers and enterprises.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Excellent knowledge of Golang or be ready to quickly switch to this programming language.
• Ability to write reliable code and dig into complex problems.
• Teamwork‑oriented approach.
• Experience designing high‑load and scaling services.

Responsibilities

• Develop fault‑tolerant, reliable cloud services: cloud infrastructure, managed databases, managed Kubernetes, billing, monitoring systems, ML service and more.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable backend solutions.
• Contribute to architecture and code reviews to improve reliability and performance.
