Job summary

Cato Networks is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join a backend team focusing on scaling and evolving its cloud-native platform.

You will design and build backend services powering data-driven insights and product capabilities, collaborating with multiple teams to deliver production-ready solutions at scale.

The role emphasizes secure, enterprise-grade systems, high-scale SaaS microservices, and continuous improvement across the stack.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of backend development experience.
• Experience with Java, Go, Play Framework, Spring Boot, or similar.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Production-grade SaaS microservices experience.
• Knowledge of system design and scalability.
• Experience designing secure, enterprise-grade systems.
• CI pipelines and service-level monitoring experience.
• Frontend experience with React/TypeScript is a plus.
• BSc in Computer Science from a recognized university.
• Highly motivated, fast learner, independent problem solver.

Responsibilities
