Thought Machine is redefining modern banking with cloud-native core and payments technology. As a Senior Software Engineer I, you will own complex end-to-end engineering work, shaping architecture and product strategy while guiding teams toward robust production systems.

You will mentor engineers, lead technical interviews, and collaborate with product managers to align technical solutions with client outcomes, ensuring quality and scalable software delivery.

Formación

• Strong proficiency in modern backend languages (Go or Python) and experience building distributed, cloud-native systems using Kubernetes, AWS/GCP, gRPC and PostgreSQL.
• Proven track record of breaking down ambiguous problems into clear milestones.
• Experience supporting high-throughput systems in production and diagnosing complex issues across distributed systems.

Responsabilidades

• Own work items from concept to production, creating delivery plans and managing dependencies.
• Partner with Product Managers to translate client requirements into technical specifications.
• Own incident resolution, coordinating mitigations and post-mortems.
• Mentor and support less experienced engineers and communicate decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
