Job summary

Trustonic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Backend to design and deliver scalable cloud-native features across its platform. You’ll focus on AWS-based microservices, primarily Python (FastAPI/Flask), leveraging Lambda, SQS, AppSync, API Gateway, and CloudWatch while driving observability and reliability.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Commercial experience building Python-based AWS Lambda services in production.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, debug, and deliver cloud-native features across the Trustonic platform.
• Develop and enhance AWS-based microservices, with focus on Lambda, SQS, API Gateway, AppSync.
• Build reliable backend services in Python 3.x and support event-driven processing for high-scale device ops.
• Collaborate with QA and product teams to improve release quality, performance, and resilience.
• Lead or participate in architecture reviews and promote SDLC best practices.
