Gravitas Recruitment Group (Global) Ltd. is seeking a Senior Backend / Full Stack Engineer for an initial 6-month contract. The role is backend-led with ownership of technical decisions and cloud-native AWS services.

You will design, build and improve backend services and APIs, collaborating with product stakeholders while delivering production-ready solutions in a remote UK environment. Strong Node.js and TypeScript skills with NestJS, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD are essential, plus experience

Qualifikationen

• Strong commercial experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Extensive experience building backend services and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with NestJS.
• Strong practical experience working with AWS and cloud-native applications.
• Experience designing REST/HTTP APIs and/or GraphQL.
• Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD.
• Strong understanding of automated testing, particularly unit and integration testing.
• Experience designing systems with scalability, resilience, observability and security in mind.
• Experience with modern front-end development using React and/or Next.js.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and an understanding of clean, maintainable architecture.
• Comfortable taking ownership of technical and architectural decisions.
• Able to work autonomously within an agile engineering environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
