Job summary

Nasstar is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join the Services team on a remote UK-based contract. You will architect and deploy robust, scalable applications for diverse clients across the UK and EMEA, acting as a consultative partner with stakeholders.

The role emphasizes cloud-native development with React, Node.js, TypeScript and AWS, IaC, serverless architectures and mature CI/CD pipelines. You will mentor juniors and guide architectural decisions.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial experience within a Full Stack Development role.
• Extensive experience with event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on with React Native, React, Node.js, TypeScript and Angular.
• Experience with AWS IaC (Terraform) and AWS Serverless (Lambda).
• CI/CD expertise with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or AWS CodePipeline.
• REST APIs and GraphQL experience.
• Containerisation with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes/ECS.
• Automated testing experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Agile, client-facing work with autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build cloud-native web apps using React, Node.js, TypeScript.
• Lead IaC with Terraform to ensure reproducible, secure client environments.
• Design and deploy serverless solutions using AWS Lambda.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while ensuring security.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for push-to-deploy.
• Mentor junior engineers and present architectural roadmaps to stakeholders.
