Job summary

Vepler Ltd is seeking an experienced engineer to own core ingestion, entity resolution, and geospatial data pipelines for its UK property intelligence platform. You will shape architecture, deploy your work, and collaborate directly with founders in a remote-first environment.

You will work on infrastructure that powers national-scale records, with emphasis on reliability, experimentation, and robust testing. Fluency in English is expected.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Node.js and TypeScript with production experience.
• Strong SQL knowledge, including query plans and indexes.
• Experience building data pipelines and change detection.
• Hands-on geospatial work with PostGIS or similar.

Responsibilities

• Own ingestion systems for national sources: reliability, throughput, recovery.
• Own entity resolution to map records to addresses, sites, or properties.
• Build geospatial datasets from source acquisition to versioned product via pipelines.
• Make architecture decisions in your domain and push to production.
• Set standards for testing, measurement, and operation and document them.
