Job summary

SSE is seeking a Senior Business Analyst in the UK to drive our flagship transformation programme. You will gather requirements from stakeholders, design future-state processes and support agile development, ensuring effective change delivery across the organization.

You will mentor a team of analysts, foster best practices, and apply Lean methodologies to improve processes. This role offers a fixed-term contract with options for Flexible First working patterns.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in business analysis within an agile delivery environment.
• Proven leadership experience mentoring teams of Business Analysts.
• Expertise in process design, process mapping, gap analysis, and Lean improvements.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills across stakeholder levels.
• Experience in energy/utility sector is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead gathering of business requirements from stakeholders and prioritise needs using MoSCoW.
• Design future-state processes, data flows and ways of working aligned with transformation goals.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for agile development teams.
• Document current state processes, perform gap analyses and support change management.
• Mentor and guide a team of Business Analysts to ensure best practices across the programme.
