Job summary

Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSE) is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to drive transformation within our flagship programme, embedding agility and enhancing digital capabilities. You will lead workshops, map future processes and support development in agile sprints to achieve SSE's strategic goals.

You will mentor analysts, ensure best practices, and work with Change Managers to enable smooth transitions across the programme.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in business analysis within an agile delivery environment.
• Proven leadership experience mentoring teams of Business Analysts.
• Expertise in process design, mapping, gap analysis and Lean improvements.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills across stakeholder levels.
• Experience in the energy/utilities sector is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the gathering of business requirements from stakeholders, facilitating workshops to prioritise needs using MoSCoW.
• Design future-state business processes and data flows aligned with digital transformation.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for agile development teams.
• Document current-state processes, perform gap analyses and enable smooth transitions with Change Managers.
• Mentor and guide a team of Business Analysts to ensure best practices.
