Unknown organisation seeks a Senior Business Analyst to drive a Risk and Financial Crime transformation within Wealth Management. The role combines stakeholder management with hands-on data investigation, SQL analysis, and translating insights into actionable requirements across process and data domains.

You will work with risk, compliance and technology teams to deliver scalable solutions, engaging with architects, data engineers and APIs to support governance and regulatory initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Senior Business Analyst delivering complex technology and data transformation programmes.
• Strong ability to shape ambiguous problems and drive requirements from inception to delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on SQL experience for data interrogation and analysis.
• Experience in data analysis, profiling, mapping and data quality assessment.
• Experience defining data, reporting and data integration requirements.

Responsabilités

• Partner with business owners, SMEs and technology teams to define and prioritise requirements.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions across Risk, Financial Crime, Compliance and Technology functions.
• Translate objectives and remediation activities into clear business, data, technology and integration requirements.
• Produce high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria and functional documentation.
• Analyze business processes, system integrations and end-to-end data flows to identify gaps and improvements.
• Perform hands-on data analysis using SQL to investigate data quality issues and queries.
• Conduct data profiling, mapping, lineage and source-to-target analysis.
• Investigate issues across applications, interfaces and reporting processes.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Data Engineering and Technology teams to design scalable solutions.
• Identify opportunities to leverage existing platforms and data assets.
• Support regulatory, governance and control initiatives.
