Job summary

G Mass in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to drive the delivery of a new underwriting workbench platform. You will translate business and technical needs into solution-ready BA artefacts that enable design, build, integration and test teams to deliver against clear requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a technical/solution-focused Senior Business Analyst on underwriting or policy workbench implementations.
• Experience of workbench implementations with a data/system feed into a policy administration platform is essential.
• Strong grounding in APIs, system interactions, and data mapping/definition work within an insurance or London Market context.
• Comfortable operating across both business and technical stakeholder groups, and able to work directly with architects, developers and test teams.
• Experience collaborating directly with external vendor delivery teams as part of a wider project team

Responsibilities

• Process models covering current and target-state underwriting workflows.
• Functional requirements specifications that are clear, testable and traceable.
• Data flow diagrams and system handoff definitions.
• Controls documentation and policy-lifecycle data movement mapping.
• User stories, acceptance criteria and other DevOps backlog updates.
• Input into, and maintenance of, the technical delivery plan.
