Job summary

Scrumconnect Consulting in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to lead Azure infrastructure projects, enforcing CI/CD best practices, monitoring, and security.

You will collaborate with development teams to implement scalable cloud solutions, promote IaC using Terraform and ARM templates, mentor junior team members, and stay current with Azure services and features.

Qualifications

• SC eligible with ability to obtain SC clearance.
• Strong background in CI/CD tooling and cloud deployment.
• Experience with Azure services and security considerations.

Job description

• Lead Azure infrastructure projects, ensuring best practice in CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and security
• Collaborate with development teams to implement scalable and secure cloud solutions
• Drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) within Azure, enhancing automation and consistency
• Mentor junior DevOps team members, sharing knowledge and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Stay abreast of the latest Azure services and features, evaluating their potential impact on our projects
• Ensure system reliability and performance, troubleshooting and resolving issues proactively
  SC eligible, with the ability to obtain SC clearance
• Proven track record as an Azure DevOps Engineer, with extensive experience across Azure services
• Strong background in CI/CD tooling, containerisation, including Docker and Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including Terraform and ARM templates
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead projects and teams effectively
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a commitment to DevOps best practice
• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams

Desirable

• Azure certifications, such as Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Solutions Architect Expert, are highly preferred
