Job summary

Mayer Brown in London is seeking an Engineer: Cloud and Infrastructure Architecture to accelerate our cloud transformation and secure, scalable platform engineering across on‑prem and cloud environments.

You will collaborate with Platform Engineering and IT teams to optimize cloud resources, implement automation, and maintain security standards while supporting occasional after-hours calls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience, required.
• Microsoft Azure Certifications, preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensures efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with security policies and cloud security best practices.
• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale with high design standards.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve legacy and cloud infrastructure issues.
• Implement and manage cloud environments per security guidelines.
• Educate teams on new cloud initiatives and provide training when necessary.
