Job summary

DataCareers is seeking an Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for a 12-month fixed-term contract. Location: Home Based / Oxford (onsite 2-3 days a month). Salary up to £52,000 (+ on call, excellent benefits).

The role focuses on hands-on Azure infrastructure, governance, automation and hybrid Microsoft environments in a public sector setting. You will manage tenants, subscriptions, resource groups and security, and contribute to cloud-first delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Azure infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience managing Azure tenants, subscriptions, resource groups and resources.
• Good knowledge of Azure IaaS: VMs, networking, storage, DNS, load balancing.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support Azure tenants, subscriptions, resource groups and cloud resources.
• Configure, maintain and improve Azure infrastructure services and load balancing.
• Support governance, access control, security and cost management.
