Job summary

VIQU IT is recruiting a Senior Site Reliability Engineer focused on AWS in Milton Keynes. You will own cloud stability, respond to live incidents, implement tooling improvements, and support a major platform transformation for a B2B SaaS environment.

This role involves on-site work two days per week, collaboration with engineering and product teams, and opportunities to progress into a team lead. Strong hands-on AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and observability experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior SRE/DevOps experience in a SaaS or MSP customer environment.
• Strong hands-on AWS and on-premise VM experience.
• Experience with IaC and container orchestration, monitoring and observability tools.
• Ability to drive new tooling adoption and process improvements.
• Excellent cross-team communication and incident handling skills.
• Networking across cloud and on-prem environments; Linux preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use Terraform and Kubernetes to provision and configure servers and networks.
• Regularly employ Datadog and other observability tools for performance monitoring.
• Shape incident response processes and drive rapid recovery.
• Own incident resolutions and reduce MTTR and toil.
• Participate in on-call rotations and coordinate with teams.
• Identify automation opportunities to raise reliability.
