IBM Consulting UK FutureNow seeks a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to drive DevOps initiatives across public sector clients. You will lead projects, mentor juniors, and shape technical direction, focusing on automating delivery pipelines with current tools and methods.

You will oversee full DevOps lifecycle, including IaC, monitoring, logging, and security best practices, collaborating with top professionals and adopting flexible, inclusive work culture.

Qualifications

• Proven DevOps experience with designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines on AWS.
• Strong Bash and Python scripting for infrastructure and deployment automation.
• Hands-on containerization with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
• Deep AWS exposure: EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and Git workflows.

Responsabilités

• Lead smaller projects and mentor junior engineers.
• Contribute to IBM’s technical direction in modern DevOps practices.
• Automate and streamline software delivery pipelines across lifecycle.
• Ensure security best practices across cloud, containers, and CI/CD.
