Job summary

easyJet is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead design, deployment and management of scalable AWS cloud infrastructures, driving automation and DevOps excellence.

You will develop advanced CI/CD pipelines, champion cloud modernization, and work directly with clients and senior stakeholders to solve complex cloud challenges.

Qualifications

• Proven experience provisioning, configuring, and maintaining AWS cloud environments.
• Expertise across AWS Compute, Storage, Security, Networking, and Governance.
• Hands-on IaC with Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
• Advanced containerization with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS or ECS.
• Strong CI/CD expertise with CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
• Linux/Windows administration and secure, highly available cloud architectures.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Proven leadership in incident management and stakeholder communication.
• AWS certifications and experience with configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible).
• Understanding of Cloud Landing Zone concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, deployment, and management of scalable AWS cloud infrastructures.
• Develop and implement advanced CI/CD strategies.
• Engage with clients to provide technical guidance and solutions.
• Lead technical discussions and set DevOps standards across teams.
• Drive automation, reduce technical debt, and optimize processes.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated on cloud technologies and propose improvements.
