Qualifications

• Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.
• Identify security issues and risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Experience identifying vulnerabilities, attack patterns, and remediation techniques.
• Scripting, programming, and security code reviews in a common language.
• Troubleshooting systems, analyzing logs, and automating tasks via command line.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage services that detect and mitigate cybersecurity threats across AWS infrastructure.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and security engineers to develop secure solutions.
• Lead security programs and processes for personnel security, accreditations, and cyber security.
• Mentor junior engineers and review code with kindness and thoroughness.
