Job summary

Version 1 is hiring a senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to design and operate cloud-native apps on AWS, managing multi-tenant EKS clusters and IaC workflows. You will build web apps with React/TypeScript, implement REST and GraphQL APIs, and contribute to microservices and event-driven architectures.

Ideal candidates have strong DevSecOps experience, automated CI/CD via GitHub Actions, and a track record of secure, scalable cloud deployments. Flexible/remote work options are available in the UK.

Qualifications

• Hands-on AWS design, deployment and operations in regulated environments.
• Experience with multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters and EKS.
• Proficient in IaC with Terraform and AWS CDK or CloudFormation.
• Frontend skills in TypeScript/React and REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Strong DevOps practices with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain cloud-native applications using AWS serverless services.
• Architect and support multi-tenant EKS/Kubernetes clusters.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK or Terraform/CloudFormation.
