Richmond Square Consulting Limited is seeking an experienced AWS Architect for a hybrid role in the UK. The candidate will design and deliver secure AWS environments for highly sensitive workloads, lead architectural discussions, and drive large-scale cloud migrations. The role requires deep hands-on AWS experience and the ability to interact with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Significant commercial experience designing AWS cloud architectures (and related cloud platforms).
• Ability to lead architectural discussions and workshops with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver secure AWS cloud environments for business-critical workloads.
• Lead architectural discussions, workshops and design exercises.
• Work on greenfield and brownfield cloud programmes.
• Support and lead large-scale AWS implementations and migrations.
• Translate customer requirements into pragmatic technical solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, security and operations teams.
• Review cloud security approaches and architectural decisions.
• Shape technical roadmaps and trade-offs.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership across complex cloud programmes.
