Job summary

Richmond Square Consulting Limited is seeking an experienced AWS Architect to design secure, scalable AWS environments for high-security workloads. You will lead architectural discussions, run workshops, and guide blueprints across greenfield and brownfield cloud programmes with strong customer engagement.

The role emphasizes autonomy, deep technical delivery, and collaboration with engineering and security teams. A DV/eDV clearance path is preferred, with hybrid working options in the UK.

Qualifications

• Significant commercial experience designing AWS cloud architectures.
• Proven experience delivering large AWS implementations and migrations.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles for critical workloads.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• DV/eDV clearance desired or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Designing and delivering secure AWS cloud environments for business-critical workloads.
• Leading architectural discussions and technical workshops.
• Working on greenfield and brownfield cloud programmes.
• Supporting and leading large-scale AWS implementations and migrations.
• Translating customer requirements into pragmatic technical solutions.
• Collaborating with engineering, security and operations teams.
• Challenging cloud security approaches and architecture decisions.
• Shaping technical roadmaps and trade-offs with stakeholders.
• Building relationships with senior technical and operational stakeholders.
• Providing technical leadership across complex cloud programmes.
