Morson Edge is recruiting an Avionic Technician to join our Hampshire-based MRO team on an initial contracting basis. The technician will ensure maintenance is performed to regulatory and contract requirements, with emphasis on safe, compliant and timely deliveries.

You will interpret technical documents and support your team by distributing work, managing workloads, and mentoring apprentices as needed, while adhering to MAA RA/MRP Part 145 and SMS requirements.

Qualifications

• Recognised relevant trade apprenticeship or trade training equivalent.
• Knowledge of general aircraft maintenance and processes applicable to the aviation environment (Human Factors, FOD control, tool control, health & safety) is expected.
• Experience in either commercial or defence would be considered.
• Proficient computer skills, use of the Microsoft Office suite.

Responsabilités

• Deliver aircraft maintenance under our client’s MAA MRP Part 145 approval or MOD customer approval.
• Assemble, disassemble, modify or repair aircraft systems/structures/electronics/components and upgrade aerospace components as needed.
• Troubleshoot complex aircraft systems (pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical/electronic) to isolate faults and repair components per approved maintenance data.
• Be flexible with work locations and times to ensure timely delivery to the customer.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to peers as appropriate.
