Job summary

Morson Edge is recruiting an Avionic Supervisor to be based in Hampshire for an aerospace client on a contracting basis. The role sits within a Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) environment, where you will ensure compliance with process, record keeping and regulatory requirements.

You will lead a small team, assign and sequence technical tasks, manage workloads, and communicate clearly to deliver to schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have good communication skills and ability to distribute and sequence technical work.
• Ability to manage demanding workloads and deliver to high standards.
• Understanding/interpretation of technical documents, drawings and publications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver aircraft maintenance under MAA MRP Part 145 or MOD approval.
• Assemble/disassemble/modify aerospace systems and components to correct faults or implement changes.
• Troubleshoot complex aircraft systems (pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical/electronic) using authorised maintenance documents.
• Be flexible with work locations/times to meet delivery deadlines.
• Provide mentoring to peers and supervise as required.
• Highlight risks and escalate issues to maintain safety and schedule.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects and open reporting culture.
• Eligible to apply for 2nd signature on type within first 3 months.
