Job summary
Draken is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead and manage an AMO-based maintenance function. You will oversee safe, compliant delivery of aircraft maintenance activities and drive continuous improvement across the organisation, reporting to Operations Manager Aircraft Maintenance.
You will develop engineering teams, foster a strong safety culture and support both UK and overseas operations with occasional travel.
Qualifications
- Requires extensive experience in aircraft maintenance management within a highly regulated aviation environment.
- Needs UK CAA Part 66 B1 or B2 license or equivalent military experience.
- Strong knowledge of UK CAA, UK MAA and EASA regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead the assigned Maintenance function in compliance with UK CAA, UK MAA and EASA requirements.
- Ensure maintenance activities are performed safely and within regulatory approvals.
- Provide leadership to Engineering Delivery Managers, Crew Chiefs and Team Leaders.
