Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior AVEVA MES Engineer to design, implement and roll out a global MES using AVEVA Composable MES. You will work across manufacturing operations, OT systems and SAP integration to support pilots and define templates for multi-site deployments.

You will collaborate with factory stakeholders to improve productivity, traceability and operational performance, bringing hands-on MES/MOM delivery experience and strong AVEVA expertise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience delivering MES/MOM solutions in manufacturing environments, with hands-on expertise in AVEVA MES and related AVEVA technologies.
• Strong knowledge of SAP integration, ISA-95 manufacturing architectures, industrial connectivity (OPC-UA, Kepware) and manufacturing data management.
• Understanding of production, quality, maintenance and traceability processes, with experience analysing OEE, downtime and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Configure and deploy AVEVA Composable MES templates for global manufacturing sites.
• Design integrations with SAP ECC, shop-floor equipment, PLCs and OPC-UA.
• Support delivery activities including testing, cutover and hypercare to raise OEE and traceability.
