Job summary

PSSL ProSound and Stage Lighting is looking for a Senior Applications & Support Engineer to contribute to innovative AV systems. This role involves system design, commissioning, and troubleshooting, requiring strong technical expertise across audio, video, lighting, and networking.

The engineer will mentor junior team members and ensure high standards in project delivery. Responsibilities include producing technical documentation and providing support for sales and project management teams. A clean driver's license and the right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant role.
• Experience in producing, reviewing, or coordinating technical drawings.
• Ability to interpret and create technical drawings and system documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of integrated AV systems.
• Provide technical input during sales and quotations.
• Produce technical documentation like schematics and specifications.
• Deliver system commissioning and support troubleshooting.

Skills

Strong understanding of integrated AV systems across various projects

Familiarity with AV design workflows

Experience with DSP-based audio systems

Working knowledge of networked AV technologies

Confident communicator

Organised and adaptable

Experience in all project phases

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

Experience mentoring junior members

Education

Educated to Degree level or equivalent
