Job summary

Gattaca is seeking a senior Solution Architect to own the end-to-end autonomy architecture for maritime and uncrewed systems. You will translate missions into a coherent system architecture and guide evidence-backed releases for trials and deployments.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, drive standards, manage validation and safety assurance, and influence the integration of hardware, software, and simulation environments across the programme.

Qualifications

• Experience designing autonomy, robotics, aerospace, maritime, or other safety-critical cyber-physical systems.
• Translate operational requirements into architectures, interfaces and delivery plans.
• Hands-on software, networks, sensors, platforms, simulation (SIL/HIL), test automation and field trials.

Responsibilities

• Define and own end-to-end autonomy architecture (onboard systems, mission management, remote operations, comms, simulation, payload interfaces, APIs).
• Lead roadmap delivery with phased releases, manage dependencies and acceptance criteria.
• Govern system integration, verification and assurance with traceability from requirements to testing and releases.
