Qualifications

• Experience leading complex autonomy projects in defense, maritime, or aerospace sectors.
• Ability to translate high-level mission profiles into verifiable, deployable packages.
• Familiarity with HIL/SIL testing and live sea trials.

Responsibilities

• Architecture & Governance: Establish and maintain the multi-layered technical blueprint for embedded vessel services and remote operations.
• Safety & Control Logic: Define state-management protocols and fail-passive behaviours to guarantee platform integrity.
• Roadmap & Requirements Execution: Break down roadmaps into sprints, matrices, and clear acceptance benchmarks.
• Verification & Testing Oversight: Design validation strategies across virtual tests and live trials.
• Interface Management: Create and control APIs, data schemas, and ICDs across teams and suppliers.
• Technical Leadership & Vendor Management: Lead engineers through gates, set benchmarks, and advise executives.
