Job summary

Anduril Industries in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Software Engineer to lead software delivered across autonomous maritime platforms. You will drive end-to-end development including autonomy, simulation, data processing and mission software lifecycle.

You will mentor engineers, own software services, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while traveling up to 20% to co-locate with end-users and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in robotics, mechatronics, computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive professional experience as a Software Engineer across domains/technologies.
• Systems and/or application programming skills including algorithms, data structures, concurrency, scaling, testing, infrastructure, and design.
• Experience troubleshooting remotely deployed software systems.
• Capacity to own software services from design through sustainment and roadmap.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Empathize with end-users and balance their needs with constraints in a multi-stakeholder environment.
• Own software-enabled solutions deployed to customers, optimizing for end-user value.
• Design and implement scalable software with architecture evolution over time.
• Contribute to reusable software components across Anduril product lines.
• Develop software on robotic platforms using diverse technologies.
• Design, implement and execute development processes for vehicle and mission software with testing and monitoring.
• Create test and simulation fixtures for software-and-hardware-in-the-loop.
• Support vehicle manufacturing and deployment.
• Mentor software engineers from diverse backgrounds.
• Travel up to 20% to co-locate with end-users and other teams.
