Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team to enhance customer care and satisfaction. The role uses a flat-rate pay model with potential bonus and ongoing training.

You will be responsible for technical diagnostics, mentoring younger technicians, and maintaining ASE certifications as required. The position emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous learning within a dynamic service environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required at all times.
• Skills in brakes and hydraulics systems and/or steering & suspension and alignments.
• Experience in automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.
• ASE certification in at least one of A1-A8 (L1 certification acceptable) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment (tests and registrations fees paid by company).
