Job summary

Bilfinger UK is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our Fareham automation team. You will lead technical delivery across PLC, SCADA and related control systems, mentoring engineers and coordinating with project managers to meet scope, budget and timescales.

You'll work with Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider, AVEVA, Ignition and other technologies across Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Utilities sectors, delivering robust, compliant solutions from design through commissioning.

Qualifications

Full project life cycle experience from specification through design, development, testing and commissioning.
Detailed design documentation delivery.
Hands-on delivery experience of PLC and SCADA systems.
Good understanding of control panels, electrical installation and instrumentation solutions.

Responsibilities

Involvement in sales to project handover process.
Assist the Project Manager in developing the project Quality Plan.
Assist in development and ongoing updates of task and procurement lists.
Peer-review documents created by the project team or other teams.
Undertake site surveys as required.
Develop FDS and DDS and project modules (PLC code modules, SCADA scripts, etc.).
Undertake site installation and commissioning.
