Job summary

Skin Analytics Ltd. is hiring an Automation QA Engineer to own and extend the test strategy for new products, covering unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests across web, mobile, and API stacks.

The role involves building automated suites, supporting manual testing where needed, and contributing directly in the codebase to improve testability, with supplier documentation and regulatory verification tracked in Ketryx.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in software QA with a focus on automation testing.
• Hands-on experience building automated tests spanning web, mobile (iOS and Android) and API layers with Playwright and Appium.
• Experience testing pure API products, using tools like Postman and Swagger.
• Proven experience defining a product test strategy as a whole.
• Using agentic AI tooling to accelerate the creation and maintenance of automated tests.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the test strategy for new products and features, from unit through integration and end‑to‑end coverage.
• Build and maintain automated test suites for mobile, web and pure API applications.
• Support manual testing where required, particularly for new features or areas not yet covered by automation.
• Make changes directly in the product codebase where it makes testing easier, such as adding test IDs, rather than relying on engineers to do it.
• Document test plans, results, defects and track regulated software verification using Ketryx.
• Review and analyse user stories, requirements, and technical specifications, working closely with developers and product managers to identify gaps, ambiguity, or potential issues before development starts
• Work with other QAs and engineers to improve testing tooling, coverage, and approach across the team as a whole

Brief overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Automation QA Engineer with extensive experience across the full testing pyramid, from unit and integration tests through to end‑to‑end testing, on both mobile and web applications as well as pure API products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance, will be comfortable defining a testing strategy from scratch, and will be confident collaborating directly in the product codebase to make automated testing easier.

• Using agentic AI tooling to accelerate the creation and maintenance of automated tests.

Nice to have (but we can teach you)

• Experience in working within a regulated SSDLC process
• Experience in working in MedTech, including ISO 13485 and ISO 62304
