Qualifications

• Senior automation/controls experience in an industrial setting.
• Strong PLC programming across Siemens and Allen-Bradley.
• Proficiency with Ladder Logic and Structured Text.
• Experience with HMI/SCADA systems and networks.
• Robotics experience would be advantageous.
• Vision systems knowledge (Keyence/Wenglor) is a plus.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and project delivery experience.
• Ability to integrate multiple automation technologies into complete systems.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and work with mechanical/electrical teams.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation and controls engineering across multiple projects.
• Own automation software development and control system architecture.
• Develop and maintain PLC software on Siemens and Allen-Bradley platforms.
• Establish software standards, practices, and reusable libraries.
• Provide technical leadership across PLC, HMI/SCADA, robotics, vision, and motion control.
• Support robotics integration with ABB, KUKA, FANUC, Yaskawa.
• Oversee vision system integration with Keyence and Wenglor.
• Ensure designs meet specifications, safety standards, and customer needs.
• Produce design docs, test procedures and commissioning docs.
• Plan and oversee FAT, SAT and site commissioning activities.
