Job summary

E Tech Group is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to design, implement and commission process automation systems across life sciences projects. The role combines hands-on engineering with project leadership, working hybrid with local travel as needed to client sites.

You will lead design, configuration and testing of control applications, ensure project schedules and budgets, and deliver robust automation solutions while mentoring teammates and upholding our quality standards.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years in automation projects, preferably Life Sciences.
• Strong PLC programming experience with Rockwell.
• Experience with control systems design, testing and commissioning.
• Knowledge of industry standards (ISA S88, S95, GAMP5, cGMP, 21 CFR Part 11).

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to project design, configuration and testing of continuous and batch control applications.
• Manage project scope, schedules and budgets with leadership, and justify changes.
• Provide technical solutions and guidance to the project team and client.
• Adapt to a flexible work schedule and travel to client facilities.
• Act as an automation Subject Matter Expert.
• Uphold core values and support professional development of colleagues.
