A Bedfordshire-based manufacturer is looking for an experienced Controls and Automation Engineer. This role involves designing and developing new products and requires travel to customer sites for troubleshooting. Suitable candidates should have a strong background in PLC/HMI control systems and experience in designing electrical control systems. Qualifications

• Background of PLC / HMI control systems incorporating at least one of the following: Rockwell ControlLogix.
• Experience with Motion Control and Servo Drive Applications desirable.
• Previous working experience of automated machinery.
• Strong experience designing electrical control systems for special purpose machinery.
• Capable of programming HMIs and adapting screens to suit project needs.
• Valid Passport and Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new products.
• Occasional travel in the UK and Overseas for troubleshooting.
