Job summary

AEP Global, part of the GCV Group, is seeking a Senior Authorised Person (SAP) for 33kV projects across Europe.

You will lead HV switching, isolation, earthing and energisation activities, and ensure Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) and Permit-to-Work compliance while coordinating contractors on mission-critical sites. Experience with HV switchgear, transformers and RMUs is preferred.

Strong client-facing and safety leadership skills are essential; UK/Europe travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Eligible to authorise up to 33kV on suitable projects.
• Demonstrated HV switching, isolation, earthing and energisation experience.
• Strong knowledge of Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) & Permit-to-Work processes.
• Proven leadership and ability to coordinate contractors on complex HV sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead Senior Authorised Person activities for 33kV projects.
• Coordinate HV switching, isolation, earthing and energisation with contractors.
• Ensure compliance with Safe Systems of Work and Permit-to-Work requirements.
• Act as safety leader and liaise with clients on mission-critical environments.

What we're looking for:

• Previous Senior Authorised Person (SAP) authorisation up to 33kV
• Strong HV switching, isolation, earthing & energisation experience
• Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) & Permit-to-Work experience
• Strong knowledge of HV Electrical Safety Rules
• Experience with HV switchgear, transformers & RMUs
• Confident leading AP's and coordinating contractors
• Strong client-facing and safety leadership skills

You'll be joining AEP Global, part of the @GCV Group, working within a specialist electrical engineering business delivering electrical safety, commissioning, verification and assurance across complex mission-critical environments.
