Senior Auditor

Job Purpose

The Business Assurance (Internal Audit) team at International Workplace Group (IWG) is committed to providing independent and objective assurance to the Board and the Audit Committee on the adequacy and effectiveness of the control environment across the Group.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct and report on operational, financial and compliance audits outlined in the risk based annual audit plan.
2. 2025 audit plan likely to include Procurement process audit, Site audits, Inventory audit, BCP/ DR audit.
3. Ethics and Compliance – Investigate fraud and whistleblowing concerns.
4. Project Assurance – Perform reviews of transformation projects including a review of the new ERP implementation of Dynamics AX.
5. Assist in the implementation of SOX compliance 404 and the UK Corporate Governance Code reform.

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications

1. ACA qualified, Big 4 trained background preferred.
2. Previous audit experience of operating in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
3. Strong understanding of governance and compliance issues in a large organisation.
4. Track record of improving controls and reducing risk.
5. Worked for an international, listed company.
6. Self-motivated and results driven.
7. Strong commercial awareness.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. Results focused, consistent track record of meeting deadlines.
10. Ability to work at pace and under pressure.
11. Strong attention to detail.
12. Comfortable with ambiguity and prepared to work in an agile and flexible way.
