What you'll be doing:

• Execute multiple areas of test work during audit activities to provide accurate and timely assessments.
• Utilise your expertise in auditing Global Markets or closely related areas to identify control deficiencies and make recommendations.
• Conduct process walkthroughs and testing to ensure controls are designed and functioning effectively.
• Demonstrate excellent project management skills and influence business partners to further improve controls and business processes.
• Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.

What you bring to the table:

• Strong background in Internal Audit, particularly in Global Markets or related areas such as market risk management, product control, or GM specific compliance.
• Experience in auditing trading desks, supervision, and risk management.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and effectively engage with senior management on complex issues.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify trends and their impact on the business.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
• Solid project and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Degree and post-graduate qualification in a related field.
