Job summary

IAC has partnered with a high-performing financial services organisation to recruit a Senior Audit Manager to join its Internal Audit function. This senior leadership role delivers independent assurance over governance, risk management and internal controls, working with executive stakeholders to lead audits across diverse areas.

You will oversee complex engagements, coach audit staff and contribute to a modern, value-adding Internal Audit function while maintaining strong regulatory alignment

Qualifications

• Recognised professional qualification in audit or accounting.
• Experience leading internal or external audit engagements.
• Experience in technology, programme delivery, financial controls, third‑party risk, or data analytics.
• Strong stakeholder management at senior leadership level.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex risk-based audits from planning to reporting.
• Manage relationships with senior stakeholders and identify emerging risks.
• Contribute to annual audit plan and assurance strategy.
• Coach and develop audit team members and ensure quality.
• Drive continuous improvement within Internal Audit.
• Deliver advisory engagements when appropriate.
