Job summary

TPF Recruitment in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Audit Senior Manager to lead audits across a diverse client portfolio from its Epsom base. The role focuses on delivering high-quality audits, client advisory work, staff development and business growth initiatives within a progressive practice.

The successful candidate will drive technical delivery, relationships with stakeholders, and continuous improvements while planning for future leadership within the audit function.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification is required.
• Significant UK practice audit experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102 and IFRS.
• Experience managing and reviewing complex audits.
• Excellent project management and organisation.
• Proven leadership in audit teams.
• Strong commercial awareness and client relationship skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical matters clearly.
• Hands-on, proactive problem solver.
• Experience in transaction support, due diligence or advisory.
• Knowledge of corporate tax matters and its interaction with audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage a substantial portfolio of audit clients across diverse sectors.
• Lead audit assignments from planning to final sign-off.
• Collaborate with Partners and Directors on client matters.
• Develop client relationships with owners and key stakeholders.
• Ensure audits comply with International Standards and UK regulations.
• Review statutory financial statements under UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Provide commercial and financial management support to clients.
• Lead specialist assignments including due diligence and business valuations.
• Drive quality control and process improvements.
• Manage engagement profitability, budgets and resources.
• Mentor junior and managerial staff.
• Support business development activities and proposals.
