Job summary

HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) is seeking an Internal Auditor to explore how AI, GenAI and Data Analytics can improve Internal Audit. You will lead audits across business and technology areas and help the team advance its use of data and emerging technologies within a hybrid London-based role.

You do not need to be an AI specialist, but practical exposure to GenAI, Copilot, data analytics, SQL, Power BI or similar is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience in Internal Audit within financial services is preferred.
• Strong interest in using technology and data to enhance assurance.
• Comfort delivering audits from planning through to reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead a range of business and technology audits from planning to reporting.
• Collaborate with audit transformation colleagues to embed AI and data analytics across audits.
• Develop the team’s use of data and emerging technologies in audit work.
