Job summary

Red Door Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Audit Senior to take ownership of audits from planning to completion. The role sits in a busy audit department serving owner-managed businesses across multiple sectors, with a strong hands-on focus.

The position offers hybrid working from London or St Albans, 10am–4pm core hours, and a comprehensive benefits package including pension, health cash plan, life assurance, and season-ticket loan. ACA or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience leading audits from planning to completion.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles.
• Experience with owner-managed businesses and charities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead and complete audit assignments from start to finish.
• Conduct audits at client premises and at the firm.
• Prepare financial statements under FRS 102, IFRS and Charity SORP.
• Prepare accounts for non-audit clients (Ltd, LLP, Partnerships, Charities).
• Prepare corporation tax computations.
• Monitor progress and budgets on assignments.
