The Audit Senior role requires ACA or ACCA qualification and substantial UK practice audit experience, with day-to-day ownership of audits and progression toward management.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Substantial audit experience in a UK accountancy practice.
• Confidence leading audit assignments with appropriate manager oversight.

Responsibilities

• Work across a varied portfolio of audit assignments for owner-managed businesses and SMEs.
• Plan, lead and complete audits with manager oversight and final review.
• Manage assignments from planning through fieldwork to completion.
• Identify and communicate audit issues clearly and promptly.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and keep managers updated on progress.
• Supervise and develop junior team members.
• Contribute to maintaining high audit standards and service quality.
• Assist with statutory accounts and corporation tax computations where appropriate.
