Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification or nearing qualification.
• Previous external audit experience in practice.
• Strong knowledge of UK audit and accounting standards.
• Experience leading audits and supervising junior team members.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A proactive and client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Manage audit fieldwork both on-site and remotely.
• Prepare and review audit files in line with regulatory requirements.
• Identify risks and opportunities and provide practical recommendations.
• Prepare statutory accounts and associated working papers.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Supervise, coach and support trainees and junior team members.
• Liaise with managers and partners on audit findings and client matters.
• Ensure compliance with UK auditing and accounting standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit processes and methodologies.
