Job summary

Armstrong Watson LLP in Newcastle is seeking an Audit & Assurance Senior to join our expanding team. The role focuses on completing audit and accountancy assignments for a portfolio of clients, while supporting the wider Audit & Assurance team.

You will be ICAS/ACA/ACCA qualified and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with colleagues and clients to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• ICAS/ACA/ACCA qualified.
• Dedicated team player and willing to assist colleagues.
• Able to prioritise workloads under strict deadlines and work well under pressure.
• Able to use initiative and have strong organisation/problem-solving skills.
• Keen to become part of a dynamic team.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts for limited company clients with files for Manager/Partner review.
• Plan, coordinate and complete audit assignments and accounts work.
• Liaise with clients to obtain necessary information.
• Ensure completion of audit or accounts files within timescales and budget.
• Assist with general administration within the Audit & Assurance department.
