Job summary

DJH is seeking an Audit & Accounts Senior in Halesowen. You will split your time ~70% on audit and ~30% on accounts, leading fieldwork, reviews and statutory accounts preparation.

You will nurture client relationships, review junior staff work, and stay up-to-date with standards to ensure compliant deliverables. This role offers varied, technically rounded experience within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Solid audit and accounts experience in practice.
• Part or fully qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and ISAs.
• Ability to manage and review others' work.
• Excellent client relationship skills.
• Team player with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead and complete audit assignments (~70% of time).
• Prepare statutory accounts and client accounts work (~30%).
• Be the first port of call for clients and build relationships.
• Review the work of trainees and juniors, coaching them.
• Flag opportunities to add value to managers/directors.
• Keep up-to-date with accounting and auditing standards.
• Manage your own workload and deadlines.
