DJH in Halesowen is seeking an Audit & Accounts Senior to join our Audit department. You will split time roughly 70% on audit and 30% on accounts, leading engagements and building relationships with clients.

You will have solid audit and accounts experience, with ACA/ACCA progression and strong knowledge of UK GAAP and ISAs. The role includes coaching juniors, managing deadlines, and delivering high-quality work.

Qualifications

• Solid audit and accounts experience gained in practice.
• Part or fully qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent), or well on the way.
• Strong understanding of UK GAAP and ISAs.
• Confident running your own jobs and reviewing others.
• Clear communication and strong client/colleague relationships.
• Attention to detail with awareness of the bigger picture.
• Team player who helps others develop.

Responsabilités

• Plan, lead and complete audit assignments (about 70% time).
• Prepare statutory accounts and support with client accounts work (about 30% time).
• Be the first port of call for clients, building strong relationships.
• Review the work of trainees and juniors, providing coaching.
• Identify opportunities to add value and raise with managers/directors.
• Keep up to date with accounting and auditing standards to stay compliant.
• Manage workload and deadlines, keeping everyone informed.
